DR. DAVID SARFATI, MD, FRCPC, PSYCHIATRIST

Dr. Sarfati is a McGill University trained Psychiatrist with an expertise in occupational mental health. He performs clinical assessments with a focus on functional recovery for multiple well-respected providers in the occupational health field. He also provides consulting services to one of Canada’s largest insurance providers. Dr. Sarfati has an active multi-provincial outpatient practice with a focus on mood and anxiety disorders, and is affiliated with McMaster University as an assistant clinical professor. He is also a Medical Director for the InfluenceCare program at Telus Health (formerly LifeWorks). In his occupational health practice he works with clients from across Canada including Quebec, Ontario, Alberta, New Brunswick, British Columbia, Newfoundland, and Saskatchewan. He has been an independent medical examiner since 2019, completing hundreds of psychiatric IMEs. Dr. Sarfati has published original scientific articles and textbook chapters in the field of depression and occupational psychiatry. Licensed to practice in Ontario, Quebec, New Brunswick, Saskatchewan, Alberta. Eligible to provide telemedicine services into British Columbia. Certified by the Royal College of Physicians and Surgeons of Canada.
